For this project, we were assigned to take a given tool and create a product that enhanced the ergonomic experience. From our design, we had to create a functioning works-like model in addition to a looks-like model. I was assigned to the hacksaw and wanted to improve ergonomic comfort by designing the hand grips with open palms and allowing for a two grip hold. I called this product Säge, the german word for saw, and created a functioning works-like looks-like model.
