We were given a project of creating a table that stayed together without screws through numerous joinery methods. This table was supposed to function in a specific situation. My partner and I decided to make a lap desk for children in the car to store their supplies in addition to holding a drink and a phone/tablet. We named this product Backseat Buddy. We designed Backseat Buddy in Fusion 360 and used a CNC machine to cut the wood. I was responsible for sanding and finishing the table.
